At Stamford Hill we are keen to involve parents and carers in their child’s education and provide a wide range of learning opportunities for families.
At Stamford Hill we are committed to fostering positive partnerships with parents and carers. We arrange a variety of events, workshops and projects throughout the year in order to support parents/carers to support children with their learning.
So far this year staff have led sessions on phonics and homework as well as arranging a maths problem solving workshop, all of which were well attended.
There is also a termly family learning project which families work on together at home. We started this year with the London topic and were amazed at the quality of the work produced, so many families brought in a wide range of models, drawings and written work related to London. The family learning project continues to grow – details of the next project will be released soon via newsletter and website.
Parent projects in the Early Years include HENRY (Health, Exercise, Nutrition for the Really Young) and The Lullaby Project by Groundswell Arts, both of which are highly regarded by both professionals and parents/carers.
Parent/carer events, workshops and projects happen throughout the year, so be sure to regularly read our school, newsletters and website.
